2017

2016

They say that ‘a good start is half the job’  and Lexellent  has certainly started off well seeing that in March the firm won the coveted Law Firm of the Year – Italy award presented by The Lawyer magazine. In their words: Lexellent stands out for top-quality labour law advice but also setting out to change employment law in Italy….. But what really made the judges sit up this year was Lexellent’s commitment to diversity. … Judges praised Lexellent’s “bold” strategy and its attention to culture and social responsibility.

2015

In 2015, the year of the World’s Fair EXPO Milano, Lexellent also faced a turning point: The ‘Global Village of Employment & Labour Law” grew with the arrival of partner Stefano Piras, a new Of Counsel,  a new office in Rome, and a new Workplace Crime Law practice. There were also many accolades at the national and international levels – including winning LegalCommunity’s Equal Opportuntities Law Firm of the Year. In December Lexellent became the first law firm in Italy to offer clients who are not fully satisfied with the counsel of the firm the possibility to not pay with No Excellence, No Fee .

2014

In February Lexellent became the Winner of The Lawyers’ European Specialist Law Firm of the Year award.  In September a global village for Employment and Labour Law was born – Lexellent new prestigious headquarters now offers a series of new services which are complimentary to Italian employment and labour law: Intellectual Property and Health & Safety in the Workplace.

2013

Lexellent is presented with the ITALIAN LABOUR LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR 2013 award by LegalCommunity – one of the most important online journals for the italian legal sector.
Carlo Majer becomes the 5th partner of Lexellent .

2012

Sergio Barozzi wins the MANAGING PARTNER OF THE YEAR 2012 award, mwich was presented at the 1st Annual LegalCommunity Labour Awards, in recognition of the success achieved by the new firm in its first year in operation.

2011

With the birth of Lexellent , Giulietta Bergamaschi takes on the role of partner alongside the historical partners.
Lexellent , in its first year of activity, is a Finalist for TopLegal’s Employment Law Firm of the Year 2011 Award.

2003

The three founders decide to become partners of one of the largest international law firms in the world, thereby effectively setting up their Employment Law department in Italy.

2000

BBS takes its first steps in the international arena, assisting internationals firms with their needs in Italy.

1998

The firm’s website is enabled to allow clients to access and manage their information and documents on-line.

1996

The firm is the first in Italy to obtain the ISO 9001 certificate of quality and contributes to the drafting of guidelines for the certifying of law firms.

1992

The start of a new era: already a leader in the Italian Labour Law field, BBS undertakes a new departure as a partner for corporate businesses, starting down a path that will lead to our current market positioning.

1990

Giorgio Scherini becomes a partner and the firm becomes known as BBS.

1982

Sergio Barozzi becomes a partner: the firm broadens its area of expertise and attracts a wider client base.

1975

Giovanni Battista Benvenuto sets up a boutique firm – exclusively specialized in Italian employment and labour law – bearing his name.
